L.V. Jayashree is the Director of The Spastics Society of Tamil Nadu [SPASTN] since 2011. SPASTN serves children and youth with cerebral palsy, multiple disability, autism and mental retardation.
She did her Post-Graduate diploma Neurological Impairment and holds a Masters Degree in Applied Psychology from National University of Singapore. She worked as Principal Psychologist and Head of Multidisciplinary Team in Association of Person with Special Needs Singapore. She brings in vast experience of teaching in India and in International Universities in Singapore.
She was the Chairperson of the Southern Zone Rehabilitation Council Of India (for Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep) until June2017. She is a recipient of Vocational Excellence Award from Rotary Club.
She has published two papers on rehabilitation and also the Principal Author of a book called Towards Inclusive Communities and a Comic Book on DeafBlindness. She has contributed Chapters for the modules developed by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
She is also a Member of various Expert Committees in the Government of TamilNadu and Government of Puducherry.
Dr. Solomon has completed his Masters in neurological physiotherapy and his PhD from MAHE, Manipal. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at the, MCHP, MAHE. His research focus is on strategies to improve motor recovery after neurological dysfunctions especially stroke. He is a member of various international working groups and an investigator in various research projects including three international research projects.
She is working as Consultant developmental pediatrician at Centre for child development and disabilities (CCDD), Aster Neukids & Motherhood child developmental centre, Bangalore. She has experience in early diagnosis of children in Autism spectrum & has good knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is trained in Play therapy (National Association for play therapy India) . She has been conducting parental training workshops & research analysis on Parent based early intervention for Autism (EDITT- SCoPE program) and has done many paper presentations in international & national conferences.
Mrs. Lalitha Sridhar is a Rehabilitation consultant development therapist and educator specialized in sensory integration and Neuro developmental therapy. She has over 30yrs of experience in the field of Rehabilitation of children with special needs in India and abroad. She has worked with children across age group from early intervention to vocational training in developing intervention programs.
Her core area of work involves new born assessment. Assessment of children for development delays/disabilities across age group, early identification and intervention, inclusion in normal environment, formulating special school programme in line with the development, identifying children for pre-voc and vocational training, resource training and setting up of resource room in normal school. She has set up early intervention unit in Chennai and has been successfully running for the past 10 years. Also established centers in Tirunelveli, Erode and Trichy and implemented programmes for children with special needs across age group. She works with regular school in identifying children who need remediation and provides programme to enhance development.
She has presented papers in conferences in India and abroad. She conducts training programme for General school teacher and resource person working in the area of special needs. The EI programme received an award by unilever for the impact an early childhood development. Recently she received FICCI flo award recognizing the work in Early Intervention in rural areas.

He runs a full fledged hospital, Mahalakshmi Nursing Home, in Surandai, Tenkasi District. He served 4 terms as President and 2 terms as Secretary in Indian Medical Association, Courtallam. He is the founder of the Courtralam Doctors Trust, Tenkasi and serving as its President for the past 5 years.
He received Best Doctor award for the year 2017 from the Health Minister of Tamil Nadu in Leadership Award category, Life Time Achievement award by the Association of Surgeons in 2019 and Meritorious Medical Service Award in recognition of his rural service for the past 35 years by Meenakshi Mission Hospital in 2017.

I would like to introduce myself as a parent. I have twins. My sons are 31 years old and have Cerebral Palsy. So that makes, what they now call, experiential expert. Bringing up my children has been an adventure, which led me to train as special educator. I have been a classroom teacher, and have also needed human resource department at Vidya Sagar to train more special educators.
My sons run an enterprise on their own, manufacturing eco friendly leafware plates of various size and shapes and this honed my entrepreneurial skills as well.

S. Sankara Raman, a Chartered Accountant and a wheel chair user, affected by muscular dystrophy joined ASSA in 1992. He is the Secretary of ASSA.
